Rainwater utilisation with a system
REM Variocistern is a variable tank system for rain water storage in buildings. The individual tanks are manufactured in a blowing process using top quality plastic and are therefore completely corrosion-free. They are made of opaque plastic in order to stop light shining through the tank and onto the water, creating algae which quickly start to decay and smell. The REM Variocistern is available in tank sizes 750 and 1,000 litre.

Dimensions and installation:
With two sizes to choose from, the REM Variocistern offers a flexible solution to your rainwater storage. The Variocistern 750 litre tank has a height of 1.60 m and the Variocistern 1,000 litre tank is 1.90 m. All Variocistern tanks have the uniform floor space of 0.78 x 0.78 making them ideal for both new and existing buildings. The tanks can be installed in rows, blocks or at an angle, creating storage capacities from 750 litres to 25,000 litres.
The water storage tank which fits through doors
The individual containers with their compact, square floor space, small dimensions and light weight make transport into the building easier. Narrow stairways and doors or narrow storage rooms are no obstacle for REM variocistern.
Easy assembly
The required storage capacity can be calculated using the following diagram, depending on the number or people living in the household and the available roof surface. The storage capacity should be chosen so that a constant supply of rainwater is available for consumption, with experience showing that rainwater requirements are between 40-50 litres per person per day.
