We had a GasSolarUnit heating system supplied and installed by REM, including new underfloor heating system and solar panels, fitted in our new extension. We can only praise REM for the installation of the complete heating system. They were professional in all aspects of their system from the sales through to the handover and it has performed exactly as we were told it would. Infact we have been able to turn off our boiler from May through to September each of the last two heating seasons and still had all our heating and hot water demands met by the solar panels. I had an existing oil boiler installed and although REM do supply and fit new oil boilers, it was their recommendation not to change the existing as it was working well at present, but to augment this heating system with the installation of a new solar thermal store that not only provides me with all the hot water I need but supplies solar energy to the heating system. I have been amazed by the reduction in my oil bill over this heating season and would estimate savings of over 30%. I would highly recommend REM as a reputable and helpful supplier of solar heating systems.

I found all the staff at REM to be most helpful and they helped me to design and size the heating system I fitted into my refurbished property. They came out several times to commission the boiler and solar system and continued to support me through the refurbishment process. My LPG usage has dropped by at least 45% even though my property has increased in size and all the advice I was given by the staff at REM has proved both helpful and, more importantly, truthful and I have no problem in helping them by fully endorsing their product and company.

When we replaced our existing back boiler we researched the currently best available renewable energy heating system. Both of us are committed to the environment, but were also wary of our lack of knowledge.
